MIMICO was established in 1989 as an indent parts supplier based in Matamata, New Zealand.
MIMICO then became NZ distributors of Moxy articulated dump trucks (ADTs), Hanomag bulldozers and compactors and Masterskreen mobile screening plants.
MIMICO’s relationship with Metso developed after Masterskreen was taken over by Nordberg, which then became a division of Metso - now a world leading manufacturer of crushing and screening plant.
Today, MIMICO distributes the full range of Metso mobile plant, static plant and parts. It also distributes Kobelco excavators, Atlas Copco rock breakers, ZF concrete mixer drives and Lamella waste water treatment plants.
The company operates a modern 1100m2 heavy machinery workshop, a 600m2 parts store, adjoining offices and training facilities in Matamata. Sales and service centres are also located in Palmerston North and Christchurch.
